One big ue for it is that it's the only place to get the antidote which is part of the living water collection that is very useful since it gives you the amulet that speeds up energy regain for 24 hours. So that will save some time on later quests, plus we won't have to grind excessively for - The bog will be useful in some later quests.
In mahjong it's only going to be investigate 3-4 times total. In good news though, once you finish that quest it appears to be smooth sailing from there and the only annoyance that would remain is how much of a pain it is to get the access key for the Mage Tower, but in good news, we'll have an advantage for that one due to the lack of night mode in this game (hidden object adventure has two quests to investigate the mage tower at night 3-4 times, night mode comes up every 5 investigations, ugh).
Unfortunately, the rate seems to be about a 1% chance due to the bug. Now that I'm past the quest, I seem to have no issues getting them to drop at the same rate they do in hidden object adventure. It is a pain, Mahjong is a bit longer yet more fun than Hidden version but no excuse to drag on drops like that, heck it is harder since you can end with a game over and waste your energy unlike in the Hidden version where that is impossible unless you afk.Īctually, from the looks of things, the actual bug is that for some reason the quest flag lowers the drop rate for this item. I've also been trying for well over a week now. The active quest increase not happening is the actual bug since normally the marker that the item is part of an active quest ensures that as long as that quest is active you'll get the item in a couple of attempts rather than the numerous it would normally take. Then the second factor is that the game appears to not be giving the increased drop rate for the item being part of an active quest. One is that the drop rate for this item is rather low in this game. My guess is that it's a combination of two factors happening here. I'm at over 70 myself and still no scythe.
